ABOUT GLOVER BOOMERANGS......
I
make ALL of my boomerangs out of the finest Aircraft Grade Finnish Birch Plywood available. I NEVER use Marine or Baltic grades of plywood, nor do I make any boomerangs out of any synthetic materials, such as plastics. Boomerangs have been made out of wood for more than 10,000 years, and I'd like to uphold that tradition...besides, breathing microscopic synthetic particles has been proven to cause cancer. Various thicknesses of wood are used to make the various models, from as thin as 1/8 inch 5 ply, to as much as 1/4 inch 5 ply, with the vast majority of the rangs for sale here being either 4mm 8 ply or 5mm 10 ply. NONE of the boomerangs I make have less than 5 plys. Whereas all of these various thicknesses are breakable, ALL are also EXTREMELY DURABLE. I've been making and throwing boomerangs out of these very same plywoods over 30 years now, and to this day, I've yet to have one of my rangs break on the field....It's more likely to have a plastic boomerang do so.
The artwork on ALL of the Glover boomerangs is original and done completely by hand. I employ only the best Acrylic paints and Acid Free inks on the market to accomplish this task. Each boomerang is signed and dated. Each and every boomerang is also then protected on both sides with high quality Clear Coat. I am open to doing a custom paint job on any on designs you see here, (we would need to discuss the price), should you desire something "special" you don't already see. Cartoon artwork is my other true passion in life, and I'm just so fortunate that I can incorporate it into my boomerang hobby as well.....Once you throw a few of my boomerangs, I hope you'll really get familiar with what I mean when I term them as"Flying works of Art." I want nothing more than to put a high quality boomerang, one that not only flies great, but looks even better, into your hands.
